ASICS X JESSICA GONSALVES GEL-NIMBUS 9 WOMEN'S SHOES

ASICS is thrilled to unveil the Jessica Gonsalves x ASICS GEL-NIMBUS™ 9, a new collaborative shoe designed in partnership with Jessica Gonsalves, co-founder of vintage store Procell. Gonsalves is one of five members of The ASICS Collective, a group of industry creatives who were given the opportunity to design their own shoe. Gonsalves is the first and only member of The ASICS Collective to select the GEL-NIMBUS™ 9 silhouette for her collaboration.

The GEL-NIMBUS™ 9 sneaker was initially designed as a distance trainer for neutral and supinated runners.

First released in 2007, this shoe resurfaces with original materials and key accent details. Its industrial look from the Y2K era is also offset with bold contrast and colour blocking.

In this era of our performance footwear, Asics shifted towards a more segmented midsole design. With GEL™ technology inserts in the heel and forefoot, this tooling helped create better cushioning and a more stable step.
