ON RUNNING CLOUDVISTA 2 MEN'S SHOES
Cloudvista 2
Unlock the trail with the Cloudvista 2. Now re-engineered for more cushioning, more comfort, and a faster feel—for mountains more fun.
Same look. New feel.
Ready to rock the trails? The next-gen Cloudvista 2 is re-engineered with a more pronounced rocker motion, so each step feels smoother and softer as you transition from heel to toe. Softer cushioning and a higher stack height provide more comfort and a better feel underfoot too.
Responsive trail rides
With its minimalist, two pronged design, the shoe's springy new Speedboard® provides more rebound and responsiveness. The result is a ride that's faster and more fun. Plus, a distinctive and breathable upper keeps your feet feeling (and looking) fresh.
Made for mixed terrain
On has leveled up with a new ultra-sticky Missiongrip™ rubber outsole to prevent slipping (even on smooth surfaces). And for better traction, they’ve updated the tread pattern and added bigger, more aggressive lugs. So you can get out there with total confidence.

Terrain
All terrain
The type of terrain the shoe performs best on. Our trail running and hiking shoes fall into one of three categories: moderate terrain, all terrain or technical terrain.
Cushioning
Plush
The level of cushioning in a shoe will determine how it feels when your foot lands. More cushioning means less impact and extra comfort. Less cushioning means a faster and more responsive running experience.
Heel to toe drop
6mm
Heel to toe drop is the difference in height between the heel and the forefoot. In a shoe with a drop of 7mm, your heel will sit 7mm higher than your forefoot. Shoes with a lower drop tend to place more load on the ankles and are generally better for midfoot and forefoot strikers. Shoes with a higher drop tend to place more load on the knees and hips and generally better for heel strikers.
